September 2015 saw the charity WWF commission Globe Productions to produce the visuals for their Christmas campaign. Delivering on the concept created by Globe’s Brand Partnership and Synch teams and against WWF’s brief, we shot a music video for Island artist Will Young’s unique version of the Burt Bacharach classic ‘What the World Needs Now’. The music video was then re-versioned as both 30sec and 60sec broadcast and digital commercials.
The campaign launched with a world premiere during a special three minute ad break takeover on Channel 4 - a global first for the conservation organisation.
During the ad break takeover, the WWF website received more traffic to the site than ever before and took a donation to the cause every 5 seconds.
