Dickon Hinchliffe is a musician, founder member of Tindersticks, film composer, orchestral arranger and songwritter. First striking out on his own in the new millennium with “Friday Night” and “Forty Shades of Blue” Hinchliffe has continued to be an ungraspable musical presence, capable of eerie film noir scores in “Married Life” and the 1980-set “Red Riding.”
For the past decade, Hinchliffe has brought his classical and band backgrounds to bear for a series of intriguing independent films, including the acclaimed Winter's Bone. His most recent scoring project, Out of the Furnace (starring Christian Bale and Woody Harrelson), and LA Cop thriller Rampart (Woody Harrelson and Sigourney Weaver).
Dicken is currently working on the score for the 5th season of Peaky Blinders.
